Description:
Hi, I’m Wednesday. My three brothers and I were five weeks old and hiding in some bushes when we were rescued from an industrial complex. We were dirty and full of fleas, and when we were checked out, we were also found to have an intestinal parasite. We came to SBACC, where we were all cleaned up, and then we went to a foster home, where we got lots of good food, TLC, and medicine to get rid of the nasty parasites. When we returned to SBACC, my three brothers found homes very quickly. I was shy and scared, and spent all my time hiding, so I went back to another foster home for more socialization. I was very scared at first, but my new foster Mom had a lot of patience, and I slowly became more comfortable. This is what she says about me. “She is a very sweet girl who is very timid and needs a lot of time to trust you. She is a beautiful panther-like cat with the smoothest, most velvety fur. She has started to come out of hiding, gathering with the other cats for food, accepting pets and pick-ups (she’s still getting used to it and takes a little bit to relax in your arms). She prefers very gentle pets and scratches, but does not like her hindquarters touched or her tail messed with. She is more approachable at a slow speed with little eye contact. She needs lots of love and will need a quiet home with a patient family who will give her plenty of time to adjust. Having another kitten or young cat in her home would help her feel safer. Once she learn to trust you, she will love you unconditionally.”
