Male Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)

Description:

Meet Vince, the handsome big boy! Vince came into the Shelter as a stray several injuries to his head, including missing most of his left ear. He is healing beautifully and is more than ready to settle into his new home. Despite his rough appearance, Vince is a SOFTY. He comes out of his cubby and soaks up cheek scritches and pets. This big boy wants to snuggle. Vince was primarily outdoors but is really enjoying plush beds and the safe indoor living now. An indoor home would be best for him and allow for his ears (which are a bit more vulnerable to the elements) to continue to heal and stay in better health. Vince’s adoption fee is reduced by $20 thanks to the Bogey Fund – a fund that draws adopter’s eyes towards often overlooked black cats in Shelters. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
