Meet Cammy, the cat! Cammy came into the Shelter after living in a home with children under 12, teens, women and men! Her favorite activities are being outside, snuggling and receiving kisses. Her previous guardian reports that she waits for her guardians to come home and loves snuggling in her cat bed. Cammy is described as snuggling, adventurous, and talkative. She had access to the outdoors in her previous home and may enjoy that after an appropriate period of acclimation to her new home and family. Cammy may be just as happy to be indoors in her next home. Cammy has lived with other cats and did well but was fearful of dogs she encountered. Cammy's adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation thanks to “Leave No One Behind fund” – designed to adopter’s eyes towards animals who have been in the Shelter’s care a little longer than average waiting for the right adopter.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
