Description:
Meet Betty! This gorgeous momma took care of neonate kittens in a foster home for two months. With her kittens old enough for adoption, Betty is clear of her mothering duties and ready to be taken care of herself. Her foster reports: `Betty is very sweet, gentle, likes to be petted and purrs. She's still a bit timid around people, but I think she'll loosen up and be more playful when she is no longer on duty. She's the best mother cat I've had and still takes good care of then at 8 weeks. She constantly talks to them and always keeps track of where they are.`Betty's adoption fee is sponsored by the Santa Cruz County Animal Shelter Foundation thanks to âLeave No One Behind fundâ â designed to adopterâs eyes towards animals who have been in the Shelterâs care a little longer than average waiting for the right adopter. Please note: Our Santa Cruz locationâs Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end âmeet and greetsâ (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If youâd like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
