Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair (Medium Coat)

Description:

We’re Bitsy and Bubbles! Bitsy is the brown tabby and Bubbles is the ginger tabby. They’re a bonded pair which means that they will be happiest when adopted as a pair. They eat together, nap together and groom each other. They’re happy kittens and their purr motors rev up as soon as you begin to pet them. Both of them like to be picked up and loved on. Bubbles is blind from birth and her eyes were removed for her health. She is adventurous and inquisitive. She knows where her food bowls are and where her litter box is located and she uses it consistently. She enjoys playing with toys that make a little noise so that she track their movements. When she hears a familiar voice, she runs toward it. Bubbles has the softest fur and she enjoys being combed or brushed.Bitsy is a bit more reserved and a little more cautious in new situations than her sister. Still, she is a loving kitten and enjoys being petted. She looks out for Bubbles and doesn’t stray far from her.Caring for a blind kitten isn’t complicated. You just need to ensure their environment is safe and consistent, keeping furniture and objects in the same place, as they learn to navigate by memory and scent. Keep the kitten indoors to prevent them from encountering dangers they can't see and provide stimulation for their other senses with noise-making toys or catnip. Always announce your presence when approaching the kitten to avoid startling them, and establish clear, repeatable routines for the location of food, water, and their litter box. Encourage your kitten to walk around and explore their space to build confidence and learn more about their environment. Make sure that they can’t fall down stairs, though. Google Jackson Galaxy or The Kitten Lady for more tips on living with a blind cat.Bitsy and Bubbles have been eating Fancy Feast kitten wet food and snacking on Hills Science Diet dry kittenfood. They have always had dry food available and get wet food for breakfast and dinner.Whoever welcomes Bitsy and Bubbles into their home is lucky! They’ll make you great companions and reward you with love and snuggles galore
