Description:
Fauna is a sweet and curious purr machine whoâs blossomed into a loving companion. After spending a few months in medical foster care and then a month at the shelter, she was understandably shy and scared of potential adopters. She became my foster so she could get away from the stress of the shelter, and her personality did a complete 180 only a day after arriving. She quickly opened up and showed her true selfâaffectionate, playful, and full of purrs.Summary of Personality: Don't let her demeanor in the shelter fool you. She is a SWEETHEART. She'll start purring at even the slightest pet. She doesn't mind being carried around and will sit on your lap for a bit if you place her there. She's even woke me up at night by climbing on my chest and purring loudly. She might run away if you startle her around the corner but she'll quickly come up and say hi when she realizes it's you! She enjoys batting her cat toys, playing with the wand toy, and getting zoomies.Home Life (experience with kids & other pets, etc): Fauna's foster home has 2 adult cats and 1 golden retriever. She is very comfortable with everyone and would love for the grumpy adult cats to play with her. She has a crush on my golden retriever. She'll try to rub up against her and start purring, but my goldie is a little nervous around cats. She has let Fauna nap with her and play with her paw or tail. Per Fauna's previous home, she likes small dogs!Include any observations: Fauna is very neat using the litter box. We currently use pine litter. Is your foster litter box trained?: Yes
