Meet Lana! A Special Tuxedo Kitten! Lana is a sweet and resilient shorthaired tuxedo kitten named after the adventurous and tough-loving character from the TV show The Loud House! This brave little girl has faced some challenges, but she’s full of love and ready for her forever home. Lana’s Special Journey:Lana was born with a condition called Symblepharon, where parts of her eyelid were fused to her eye. For the first few months of her life, she was unable to see and had to navigate her world via smell, touch, and memory. An eye doctor diagnosed her and treatment didn't work. Since her eyes kept getting infected, we decided it best to remove the eyes so she could learn to live life as a blind kitty. On the day of surgery, however, the veterinarian realized they could save one of her eyes!!!! So Lana is now able to see out of one eye and has become a one-eyed wonder. Despite her condition, she’s loves to explore her surroundings, is super playful, and loves to cuddle up in her foster mom's arms. What Makes Lana Special: Once she gets used to her environment and where things are, Lana loves playtime, chasing after toys and pouncing on strings, proving she’s got a spunky side! Lana also loves curling up in cozy spots, on her foster's lap or sleeping with you. She's a total lovebug and purr machine. Her Perfect Home:Lana is looking for a special adopter who understands her medical needs and is willing to continue her treatment. A calm and loving environment will help her thrive as she continues to gain confidence. She may need extra care, but the love she’ll give in return is priceless.
