Female Cat, Domestic Short Hair

Domestic Short Hair / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

CASTRO VALLEY, CA: Hi, I’m Rubi! My coloring is called “dilute tortoiseshell” but everyone who meets me says I’m just 100 percent beautiful! I was rescued from the streets by a kind Samaritan. I was in very bad condition when I was found, but I’m doing great now thanks to my rescuer who took me in and gave me very good care. I’m a very sweet kitty and love to rub against everything and anything! I love interaction and will follow my foster mom all over the house. While I really enjoy pets, I prefer to smell your hand and give you my permission first. I would do best with a patient adopter who is willing to work with me and give me all the time I need to adjust. My foster mom thinks I probably never had any toys in the past because I don't seem to know what to do with them. I enjoy hanging out and watching TV with my foster family! I love to do “zoomies” around the house and am an excellent biscuit-maker! I was born in approximately March 2023, have been spayed and will be up to date on my shots prior to adoption. I would do best in a home with no young children — preferably adults only, or with older teenagers. This is a Courtesy Post, and Rubi is with Angus & Friends Cat Rescue in Castro Valley, California. For more information, please text (preferred) or call Deborah MacDonald at 510-909-4961 or contact her via email at [email protected]. Angus & Friends is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit cat rescue organization in Alameda County, CA. Visit their website at https://angusandfriendscatrescue.com/. Please Note: This cat has not yet been tested for FIV/FeLV, to our knowledge. Potential adopters should confirm the cat’s status with the rescue group and should consult with their veterinarian for recommendations regarding testing.
