Female Cat, Tortoiseshell
Tortoiseshell (Short Coat)
Description:
Butterscotch is a beautiful tortoiseshell teenage kitten born in May 2025. She was rescued from a backyard in Menlo Park in September and is now loving life indoors with a warm bed, regular meals, and plenty of attention from people of all ages. She’s shy when meeting new people and likes to observe from a safe spot at first. Once she feels comfortable (usually just a few minutes), her playful side comes out. She loves chasing wand toys, laser dots, and crinkle balls, and she’s easy to pick up and hold. She’s not a lap cat yet, but she’s getting there — she’ll stay close, accept pets, and is starting to seek out attention more each day. With a patient home, she’ll keep making progress. Butterscotch is great with calm kids and adults of all ages and gets along well with other cats. She would enjoy a feline friend or be just as happy as the only cat in the home. She’s strictly indoor-only and fully ready for her forever family. If you’re looking for a sweet, playful kitten who just needs a little time to trust, Butterscotch is waiting to meet you. Butterscotch is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. You can meet her in person at the Whiskerwood Haven Cat Lounge at 3000 Geary Blvd. in San Francisco.
