INFO: Cookie is a sweet kitty who needs an equally sweet person to take a chance on her and her lifelong medical needs. Cookie came to us with a concerning lump, and when the biopsy results came back we were glad to see that the results indicated two managable conditions. Cookie has Feline Eosinophilic Granuloma Complex (EGC), meaning that she is immunocompromised and she is more sensitive to allergens. As well, she has Feline Atopic Skin Syndrome (FASS), meaning that when she does have an allergy, she could develop imflammed skin or ulcers. While there is no cure for these conditions, if she were to have an allergy flare up she would need the symptoms treated to keep her comfortable. Management of her allergens can help with her flare ups, but we recommend having regular vet check ups to see if there are any medications that further assist with her conditions.
