When he’s especially happy, he may even drool a little or try to groom your face. He enjoys interactive play, bird watching, and relaxing near his person. Elton is food-motivated and does best with a predictable routine. Like many affectionate cats, he can become a little overstimulated during long petting sessions. He does best with people who understand cat body language and are comfortable giving him space when he’s ready for a break. Elton takes a small daily medication (easily hidden in treats) that helps him stay relaxed and balanced. He also has a fondness for plastic bags, so those should be kept out of reach. A calm home without young children would be best. Elton may enjoy another cat, but he’s also happy soaking up human attention on his own. If you’re an experienced cat person looking for a devoted companion with a big personality, Elton could be a wonderful match.
