It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. OLIVER and his 2 siblings (LOLA & SASHA) were rescued from Los Angeles, California on Alameda and 101 in a trucking company parking lot. Rescue mama was called that a lady was trapping all the cats to get them fixed and needed help with the kittens. So our trapper went out and brough us the kittens so they would not have to die in that truck parking lot. Meet OLIVER, a kitten with a personality as big as his heart. His sweet, independent spirit shines through his curious nature. He's not just a kitten, he's a tiny explorer, always eager to investigate new corners of his world. OLIVER's goofy antics will make you chuckle, and his bravery is admirable. He's a smart little fellow, with a playful streak that never fails to entertain. But don't be fooled, he also knows when to mellow down, displaying a shy, timid side that's just as endearing. OLIVER is perfectly content with gentle pets and has a special love for canned food. OLIVER's a unique blend of fun, adventure, and tranquility, making him the perfect companion for any home. Adopt OLIVER, and let his love and laughter fill your life. OLIVER is DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / TABBY MIX. He is about 10 months old and is good with cats. He has not been around young children or dogs. OLIVER is currently at a foster home in Menifee, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ********* MAY CONSIDER OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS NEAR CALIFORNIA, BUT BE AWARE THAT WE WILL NOT SHIP. ADOPTER WILL NEED TO PICK UP********** APRIL 2024: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. ******************* If you call the PETSMART location, please ask them to physically check the cattery door for the current week's VISITING HOURS. ****************** The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. Gas donations always appreciated! ************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one available to take calls. ************* If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. OLIVER is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
