PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND. It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life. ENERU was saved by an independent rescuer back in late 2021. He was a tiny kitten. Well fast forward to a year ago, the lady was killed by a drunk driver. We were asked to help with her rescues and to our dismay, her house was a horrific hoarding case. We pulled 55 cats that were still alive. Our rescue took 26 of those cats into out rescue. ENERU is now ready for adoption. Please note: He had a hematoma on his ear at some point in his life. By the time we got him, it was already harden from it never being addressed. We think it gives him character and is does not stop him from being a sweetheart! ENERU can be shy at first. He gets comfortable very quick and is curious about everything. He can get startled but will come back and investigate. He will then throw himself on the floor and demand attention, come rub on you or walk in between your legs. He is such a sweet love bug. All he wants is pets and love. He comes running when it's time to get his can food. His purr box is very loud. Sour our boy was adopted this year and returned a few months later. He was to needy for the adopter and she could not cut his nails. Honestly, that was a horrible reason to abandon him. So now he's looking for his REAL FUREVER home.!!! ENERU is a DOMESTIC SHORT HAIR / ABYSSINIAN TABBY MIX. He is 3 years old. He is good with cats and lived with dogs. He has never been around children. ENERU is currently located at our rescue in Hemet, California. ADOPTION PROCESS: 1. Go to Workinwhiskers.com (Click on ADOPT) 2. Fill Out Online Form 3. Submit Online Application 4. Someone Will Call / Text to Do Phone Interview 5. Will be notified of Approved Application 6. Home Visit (WILL BE SCHEDULED) 7. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty 8. Sign Adoption Contract 9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH) 10. Take the Kitty Home ******************************* NO OUT OF STATE ADOPTIONS ****************************** DECEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees. Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours so please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability. The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below. PETSMART in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue or any PETSMART near you! The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done.. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ************* ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS ********** If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets. Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption. We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient. ENERU is ALREADY fully vetted. The adoption fee of $200 covers: Neuter FVRCP shots RABIES shot FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative) Drontal Dewormer Stronghold Flea Control Microchip We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens.
