Description:
Monkey has come a long way since coming to the shelter. When he first arrived, he was very shut down and scared of pretty much everything. Volunteers set to work with patience, treats and toys to get this sweet boy out of his shell. Now Monkey is a different cat! He meows for attention. He likes being pet and brushed. Hold out your hand and he gives head butts! He's even started playing and showing an interest in other cats. Give him a little dried catnip and he really lets loose. :-) Monkey will do best in a quieter home where he can have time he will need to settle in and become the confident cat he wants to be.
