Description:
This huge hound mix was found as a stray and went unclaimed, so he's looking for a family! He is a big lovebug, he loves to lean in for hugs and back scratches. His pictures are a little deceiving- he is 108 lbs and taller than you'd imagine- you could just about put a saddle on this guy! He is a leaner, walks great on a leash, knows how to take treats nicely, and fits perfectly in a recliner like he’s done it all his life! He is very food motivated, and doesn’t seem to mind some dog (preferably the ladies) but is particular with other males. And even though he is huge, Maverick seems to wabtnto keep his distance from cats-like he is scared of them! He is a big gentle giant, and would love a home where someone will treat him like the king he is! *Maverick is fully sponsored- free to an approved home!* If you would like to meet me, please visit our website and complete the pre-adoption application. All dogs are spayed/neutered, heartworm tested (if over 2 years old), vaccinated, dewormed, flea and tick treated, microchipped and more before adoption. Our adoption policies include: Application, Vet Reference, Landlord approval & Criminal Background Check. We do not do same day adoptions. We request that you call for an appointment after your application has been approved to come and visit the dog of your choice.
