Bio: The adventures of Amelia began last week, when she and her brother Zillah escaped euthanasia at a small shelter. Their mom, aunt, and other sibling will soon follow. Amelia hasn't been as brave as her brother, yet, but we know she'll get there! We spent the first few days hiding in the back of our kennel too scared to eat or drink. Then slowly laying with out paws hanging out, and accepting the goodies the foster mom drops off throughout the day. As long as she isn't looking. Soon we started having a blast playing outside with all of the other dogs here, especially the other nervous girl, Paisley! Rope toys, Jolly balls, squeakies, you bet. Love then all!
