Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
1 year old (estimated) Spayed female 48 lbs. Has done well with another dog at the shelter No known experience with cats or children Appears potty trained at the shelter Maple is a happy-go-lucky young pup with a fun-loving spirit and a heart full of sweetness. She’s easygoing and gentle, making her a joy to be around, whether she’s going for a walk—where she shines on leash—or just lounging on her blankets after a playful day. Maple enjoys the company of other dogs she’s met at the shelter and is always up for some friendly playtime. She’s a smart girl who knows “sit” and is wonderfully attentive when treats or toys are involved. While she doesn’t quite have the hang of fetch yet, she’s enthusiastic about chasing the ball! Maple has done great with potty training in her kennel, with little to no accidents. With her sweet nature and playful charm, Maple would be a wonderful addition to a family looking for a loyal canine companion. The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.
