Male Dog, German Shepherd Dog

German Shepherd Dog (Short Coat)

Description:

Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. 501C3 rescue or special adopter! Special needs! This handsome German Shepherd is Skippy. He is 5 years old and is neutered and vaccinated. Skippy has Progressive Retinal Atrophy. Basically, this leads to blindness in dogs. He can still see almost everything but you can tell his eyes are cloudy. Skippy loves literally everyone he meets. He knows basic commands and just has a super happy, fun loving personality. Skippy is good with other dogs BUT he gets attached to people and then becomes jealous if the other dog is around. He does not like cats. Skippy is leash and crate trained. Please share to help him. We have a full kennel and need your help! Her adoption fee is $175, cash or credit card only! Mon.-Sat. 10-4 We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!) Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank You!
