Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. Ruben. Sweet, sweet, Ruben!! He's so friendly and outgoing until a leash is put on him. We tried a leash and harness. They just frighten him and he may have had a bad experience with a leash in the past but we can't be sure. We know with work, patience, and time he will learn to trust again! Ruben seems to like other dogs and perks up when he sees another dog. This guy is only 7 months old and weighs 34 pounds at the present time. He still has some growing to do! Please share to help Ruben find a home with someone with patience, kindness, and understanding. He came to us from PG County Shelter. Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, microchip and first shots. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a 'meet and greet'. Mon.-Sat. 10-4We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!)
