Description:
Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. Meet Roxy: The Athletic Explorer! Looking for a partner for your morning jogs or a pro at "Crate & Chill"? Roxy is ready to find her forever home! This gorgeous 1-year and 4-month-old girl is the perfect mix of smart, social, and spirited. The Roxy Lowdown:Social Butterfly: She’s great with other dogs and loves having a four-legged friend to run around with. Pro Skills: She is both leash trained and crate trained, making her a dream to take on walks and easy to settle in at home. Athletic and Smart: Roxy is a 40 lb powerhouse. She’s got some hops, though—she can clear a 4-foot fence if she gets bored, so she’ll need a secure yard or a human who loves supervised outdoor play! The Best Fit:Roxy is a bundle of happy energy! Because she can get a bit "hyper" around little ones, she’d do best in a home with older kids who can keep up with her zooms. She also has a bit of a "prey drive," so a cat-free home is a must (she just can't resist the chase!). If you’re looking for a loyal, active companion who is past the puppy stage but still full of life, Roxy is your girl! Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, first shots and microchip.. If you already have a dog, bring them in with you for a 'meet and greet'. Mon.-Sat. 10-4We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!) Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank You!
