Male Dog, Mastiff

Mastiff (Short Coat)

Description:

Don't forget!! We are currently open by appointment only. This is to control the traffic in the building at one time. If you would like to look at the cats/dogs for adoption, or if you need to relinquish or to do any other business, please message our FB page or call us at 304-267-8389 to schedule an appointment. If you see a specific pet for adoption on our FB page we can always set up a specific meet and greet for that as well. Come in and meet Miles, the ultimate gentle giant! See his VIDEO on our FB page!! At 7 and 1/2 years young, this sweet Mastiff is looking for a comfy couch and a loving home to call his own. If you’re searching for a big boy with an even bigger heart, Miles might just be your perfect match! Here is why you'll fall in love with Miles: Big Heart, Gentle Spirit: He’s a true gentle giant through and through. Kid and Dog Approved: Great with kids and dog-friendly! (He’s never been around cats, so a cat-free home or proper slow introductions would be best). Leash and Manners Pro: He walks like a dream on a leash, knows his basic commands, and takes treats so gently. House Smart: Fully crate trained! Special Note: Miles is looking for a home with no stairs or very minimal steps, as stairs are a bit tricky for him in his golden years. A ground-floor home, ranch, or a place with a single level would be ideal! Adoption fee... $175, cash or credit card, includes spay/neuter, first shots and microchip.. If you already have a dog, bring them with you for a 'meet and greet'!! Mon.-Sat. 10-4We understand not everyone can adopt a pet. Some homes are full, some homes do not allow certain pets and some have lifestyles that can't handle a pet right now. You can still help. Sharing pictures on FB, volunteering, or just coming in and sponsoring part of the adoption fee for when the pet is adopted. This helps a lot. No amount is too small to donate towards the adoption fee. If you would like to help sponsor, speak to one of the staff. Especially the cats and kittens need help (since we usually have so many!) Any help is greatly appreciated! Thank You!
