IN NEED OF LOCAL FOSTER OR ADOPTER / AVAILABLE FOR FOSTER TO ADOPT FOR LOCAL ADOPTERS Meet Ripples! https://youtu.be/xCPooGeI2AI Ripples is 7 years old (approx. DOB 10-24-16), male, 65 lbs., vetted, is or will be neutered, and microchipped. We found Ripples in a SC shelter 2nd in line to be put down. He is good with other dogs, has tested well with cats (all cat/dog relationships are different), and is so happy that he gets another chance to find a family that will love him for the rest of his life! Per his current caretaker in SC: "He really is a beautiful dog with such a good demeanor. And did I mention he LUVS car rides, lays right down, and goes to sleep…we just came back from our place at the beach … lots of new smells (deer, fox, my family’s dogs)…a deck to hang out on in the chilly weather. Many shelters and rescues specify breeds based on appearance; however, research has shown that less than 2% of a dog’s DNA determines appearance! Labels such as “dog friendly” and “child friendly” should be used with caution as they often over-simplify the personalities and behavior of dogs.
