She enjoys the occasional leisurely stroll around the block, but is mostly a proud dog bed potato-naps are her love language!Gertrude has a calm, gentle demeanor and absolutely adores people. She's the perfect companion for someone who enjoys a quiet, snuggly presence around the house.She's still working on her house training (about 50% there), so a patient adopter who can help her keep up the good work would be ideal. Because of her age and build, stairs aren't really her thing-she's more of a "one-floor-living" kind of gal.If you have a soft spot for senior dogs and a cozy corner for Gertrude to call her own, she'll reward you with unconditional love, soulful eyes, and the sweetest snuggles around.Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-served basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. ALL CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $100.
