Female Dog, Spaniel

Spaniel / Mixed (Medium Coat)

Description:

Becky and her four 6-week-old puppies were owner surrendered to Harris County Animal Shelter in June 2021. Becky was transferred to Emmy's Hope Rescue and her pups went to another Rescue. Becky was very shy and untrusting when she first came to the Rescue. As she learned the daily routine and began to meet and mingle with the small dogs, she slowly gained confidence and came out of her shell. She now has a few doggie friends that she likes to run and play with. However, she is still very shy and untrusting with new dogs and people she does not know. She really enjoys sitting close to her foster mom and being petted. Becky does best in a familiar routine, where she knows what comes next. She needs a loving and very patient family who has the time and is willing to take things slow. Ideally, Becky would probably do best if she could be the only dog, in a quiet home, with just one person. Estimated birth date: June 2019 Approximate weight: 20 lbs. If you would like to meet Becky, please call or text Stephanie at: 281-622-6549. *** ADOPTION CRITERIA *** To qualify to adopt from Emmy's Hope Rescue, YOU MUST HAVE ALL 4 QUALIFIERS: 1.
