Female Dog, Labrador Retriever

Labrador Retriever / Pit Bull Terrier / Mixed (Short Coat)

Description:

Hi I'm Cheerio! I love you already! Actually I love everybody! I found myself in the shelter because I went out looking for more friends and I got lost. The shelter said I was a lab mix about 45 lbs. And be jealous ladies, I have this beautiful permanent eye liner that make my eyes so big and pretty! My foster mom says I've got the beauty and the brains! I'm perfectly potty trained and crate trained. I have already learned how to sit in just a 2 days. I need more practice on walking on the leash but we will work on that soon. I also REALLY love food, which is good for training because I am extra motivated but sometimes I try to take it off the counter when I'm not supposed to. I'm working on that too. Cheerio does great with dogs of all sizes but she does not like to share her food and needs to be fed separately. She would do best in a home with no small children just because she gets excited and could knock them down. Older children that she could run around with would be great for her! She loves the water and enjoyed lounging in the kiddie pool on a hot sunny day! Cheerio is available for adoption with Saving Grace Dog Rescue of San Antonio. The adoption fee is $195.00 local or $395.00 out of state with transport. An adoption application, home visit and adoption contract are all required. All dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations appropriate for their age, microchipped, and wormed for internal and external parasites. If you would like more information or an adoption application, please email us at [email protected]. Please note that visual breed identification in rescue dogs is unreliable so for most of our dogs we are only GUESSING at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
