Email: [email protected] Primary Website: www.DDRTX.org Hello, I’m Amy Rose, I am a sweet girl who is a little shy at first but I will warm up quickly. I love to be held and cuddled. I am learning all kinds of new things like walking on a leash and going out the doggie door. I have already mastered sleeping in my crate all night and coming in the doggie door. I was kept outside a lot before so I have to be treated for those pesky heartworms. My new mom says those days are all over. I am taking my medicine and spending all my time on the couch or in a comfy lap. I am not picky I love everyone’s lap my mom, dad, brother and sister. I have new four legged foster siblings who are little like me and even one that’s really big , but I like her too !!! I do have to let everyone know I get a little jealous if I am on a lap and someone else wants there too. My mom is teaching me to share but I want her all to myself, I am working on that too. I have a bit of recovering to do as I just went to the doctor but in a few weeks I will be ready to meet everyone!! Can’t wait to see you !!! Amy tested positive for heartworm. She has been spayed recently but now has to go through heartworm treatments. She is available for adoption under our heartworm positive contract. What that means is that she lives in your home while going through treatments under our care and at our expense. Once she is cleared of heartworm, then the adoption will be finalized. There are some requirements that have to bet met to make it happen. If interested, please don't hesitate to ask! Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?
