Meet Ducky – our 3YO sweetheart who’s ready to find her forever home. When Ducky first arrived at our shelter she was a nervous little soul – but now look at her! She’s blossomed into a happy, confident, loving girl who just craves attention. Ducky may greet you with an excited bark, but she quickly calms down to soak up all the love. She’s great on a leash and walks like a pro without pulling. She’s also proven she can get along great with other dogs, and would love to make all the friends possible. She loves pets, scratches, and gentle attention. She may sweetly put her front paws up on you to give you a soft “hello,” and ask for some love. It seems to be her way of hugging you! Ducky is gentle when taking treats from your hand, and knows how to sit on command (though she won’t hold it for very long – she’s usually too excited to try and get as close as possible to you).
