Berry has been waiting patiently (and excitedly!) for her forever home since December 20, 2022. She's a shelter favorite here - full of life, love, and a whole lot of puppy-like enthusiasm, even as she’s grown older. This happy-go-lucky girl is always ready for an adventure. She’s got the energy to run for miles and would thrive with an active adopter who can keep up with her zest for life. But don’t worry - Berry isn’t all zoomies. After her bursts of energy, she’s quick to curl up for cuddles and loves to be pet. She even takes treats gently and will sit on command, especially if she knows there’s some affection coming her way.Berry is still working through her puppyish manners - she’s a bit of an overgrown puppy who just can’t contain her joy. She may jump up on you, or be mouthy in her excitement. She doesn’t mean to be naughty - she just thinks it’s all a fun game and she’s always so thrilled to be hanging out with you! With consistent guidance and patience Berry can continue to build on the progress she made in a past foster home, where she learned potty training and basic commands. She's also gotten along well with other dogs and would love to have a furry friend to play with!Ready to meet your shadow, your jogging buddy, your cuddle bug, your court jester?
