Meet Adlain, a sweet and loving 2-year-old Lab mix who’s still learning to trust the world around her. Although she’s a little timid, she has a heart full of affection to share. When you first meet her, Adlain will greet you gently. She’s always eager to spend time with people! Adlain loves attention and enjoys sitting close to her human friends, often inviting herself into your lap when you sit down. She will gently place her front paws on you when she wants some extra love, and she takes treats gently from your hand, showing her sweet nature. Though she’s not particularly interested in toys, she’s a calm and affectionate companion who would love being pampered and pet.Adlain arrived at the shelter alongside her sister Artemina A048786, and while she’s still a bit shy and cautious about her surroundings, she’s made great strides in learning to relax and enjoy her time outdoors. Walking on a leash is something she’s still getting the hang of, but she’s working on it! Once she’s had the opportunity to de-stress a bit she does much better with leash walking. She’s looking for a patient, loving home where she can continue to build confidence and feel safe.
