Meet King A Shy Soul with a Heart of Gold (and a Serious Snack Addiction!) Hello, my name is King. I'm an 18-month-old Pitbull/American Bulldog mix weighing about 80 pounds of gentle love. My previous family could no longer care for me, so here I am, hoping to find someone who understands that sometimes, the best friendships take a little time to grow. I'm a shy guy at firstnew faces take me a minute to trustbut once I warm up, I'm loyal to the core and ready to be your very best friend. If you have patience, love, and a few tasty treats to share, you'll have my heart in no time. (I'm 110% a foodie and a true connoisseur of snacks!) I'm already leash and crate trained, and I get along well with my littermatethough if you have other dogs, a meet and greet will help us all get off on the right paw. I'd do best in a calm, adult-only home where I can feel safe and build confidence at my own pace. I'm neutered, microchipped, up to date on my rabies and booster vaccines, and heartworm negative. I have been searching for my furr ever home for 170 days as of 10/04/2025 and am now considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
