Male Dog, Australian Shepherd
Australian Shepherd / Labrador Retriever / Mixed
Description:
Meet Jake! Jake is a 4-year-old Australian Shepherd/Labrador Retriever mix weighing approximately 67 pounds who is looking for a patient, loving forever home after his family was no longer able to keep him due to a move. While he can be shy and timid when meeting new people, Jake is a gentle, sweet dog who blossoms with time, consistency, and kindness. He would do best with a calm family willing to help build his confidence and is not recommended for homes with children under 10 years old. A well-mannered resident dog could help him adjust, and any current dogs should meet him prior to adoption. Jake's adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on rabies vaccination, booster to date, and heartworm negative. An approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. Apply online today: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email [email protected]. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
