Male Dog, American Pit Bull Terrier

American Pit Bull Terrier / Labrador Retriever / Mixed

Description:

Meet Guinness, a 4-year-old Pit Bull/Lab mix weighing approximately 43 pounds who is ready to find his pot of gold at the end of the rainbow-a loving forever home. Guinness was found running loose on Misty Ridge Lane on 03/02/26 and was never reclaimed, but he hasn't let that dampen his cheerful spirit. This handsome lad has a sweet demeanor and enjoys meeting new doggy friends. He can get a little enthusiastic when greeting other pups, but it all comes from a friendly place. If you have another dog at home, a meet and greet is recommended to ensure they are a good match. Guinness knows some basic commands and walks fairly well on a leash. Since he is still new to the crew at RAC, we are continuing to learn more about his personality and will share updates as we get to know him better. His adoption fee is $125. He is neutered, microchipped, current on his rabies vaccination, and basic boosters. Guinness did test positive for heartworms; however, thanks to our partnership with Rockwall PAWS, he will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to his adopter. If you are interested in giving Guinness the luck of the Irish with a forever home, please complete an online adoption application at https://rockwalladoptions.com/our-pets/available-dogs/ . All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. For questions, please call 972-771-7750 ext. 2 or email [email protected]. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
