Hello! My name is Duck! I am a male, Lab mix that is approx. 7 years old and weighs 58 lbs. I was originally found off Bass Road in Rockwall on 3/2/2024 and sadly, never reclaimed. So now I am available for adoption and looking for my new furever home. I am a very sweet but also slightly goofy boy that everyone at RAC has fallen in love with! Don't let my age fool you! I definitely have a spring in my step and am always happy to see you! I love to play with toys, go for walks with volunteers, and when it's time to chill, I'm always ready to cuddle. If you have another dog in the home, a meet and greet is always suggested prior to adopting any dog. So, if you do, I would love to meet them. Let's set up a meet and greet! My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on my basic yearly vaccines. I did test positive for heartworms, however, thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I am able to receive treatment for little to no cost to my adopter. Meet and greets will be scheduled with approved adopters accordingly. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
