Hi there! My name is Champ! I am a 1-2 year old male Anatolian Shepherd mix that weighs approx. 71 lbs. I was found off S. Goliad in Rockwall on 3/30/25 and never reclaimed. So now I am available for adoption and looking for a place to call home! I am a sweet boy who walks well on a leash and is super friendly with everyone I meet. I do prefer my new family be home more often so we can spend lots of quality time together. Being with my people is my happy place. I am interested in all kinds of toys and enjoy a snuggly blanket. I love to run and go on adventures! If you have another dog at home a meet and greet is always suggested prior to adoption to make sure we get along before going home. My adoption fee is $125. I am neutered, microchipped, rabies vaccine, and boosters to date. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopter. All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday 9 am to 6 pm and Saturdays 9 am to 5 pm. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
