Description:
Meet Bodhi! Bodhi is an 18-month-old German Shepherd mix weighing approximately 72 pounds who is ready to find his forever home. After spending 186 days (as of 08/03/26) in the shelter, this Diamond Dog is hoping someone will finally give him the second chance he deserves. His adoption fee has been reduced to just $75. Friendly, social, and people-oriented, Bodhi loves being included in everyday life. He walks well on a leash, keeps his kennel clean, and appears to be house trained or should transition easily into a home with consistency. Bodhi is good with kids however Because of his size and play style, Bodhi is not recommended for homes with children under 5 years old. He enjoys durable hard chew toys to keep him entertained and does best without blankets, beds, or plush toys. He does well with female dogs his size or larger but is not compatible with male dogs. He would not do well in a home with cats. A meet and greet is recommended for homes with existing pets. Bodhi is neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations, and heartworm positive. Thanks to Rockwall PAWS, his heartworm treatment is sponsored at little to no cost to his adopter. If you're looking for a loyal companion who's ready to be part of your family, Bodhi is waiting to meet you. Apply to adopt Bodhi today: https://rockwalladoptions.com/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX.
