Hi! My name is Blackie! I'm a 2 year old, female, Lab/Shepherd mix and weigh around 50 lbs. I was surrendered May 1st, 2023, due to my family no longer being able to care for me. I am very sweet and love a good head scratch. I get along great with other dogs but definitely prefer males over females. If you have another dog in the home a meet and greet is recommended before you decide to adopt. I have been searching for my furever home for 322 days as of 03/18/24 and am considered a Diamond Dog! My adoption fee is $75. I am spayed, microchipped, current on my rabies vaccination and basic boosters. I did test positive for heartworms but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment with little or no cost to the adopter. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
