Meet Prince. This handsome boy was shot and left for dead in a dumpster. Somehow this brave boy managed to crawl out. When he was found he had curled up on a couch, gave up, waiting for death. A volunteer was contacted and we rushed him to the vet. He was shot in the eye, the bullet grazed his brain and lodged in his chest. He came in with a severe infection in both the eye. After a week in the ICU, a plasma transfusion and eye removal he is ready for a new home. Prince is great on a leash, absolutely loves people and is very friendly. Playing in the water is a favorite hobby of his. However he is cat reactive and needs to be in a cat-free home. He constantly wants to be with his people. He will need a privacy or 6 foot fence where he can run safely. Prince was born around 11/2021 and he weighs 50 pounds. HIs adoption fee is $300. You can apply for Prince at www.adoggie4you.org. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $225 . We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations.
