Description:
Est. DOB: 12/17/2023, male, neutered, chipped, and UTD on vaccinations Meet King Huff – A Big Heart in a Little Body! Don’t let his royal name fool you—King Huff is equal parts goofball and cuddle-bug! This smart, spunky pup is bursting with love, energy, and personality. He’s all about playing tug with his foster sister, chasing toys, exploring the yard, and then snuggling up for a well-earned nap. King already knows sit, down, wait, and touch—and he’s working on leave it, drop it, and come. He’s very food motivated and loves showing off his skills for a tasty treat. During mealtime, he even trots into his crate like a polite little gentleman and waits patiently. This sweet boy didn’t have the easiest start in life—he came to BARC at just 3 months old with a broken leg after being kicked by a previous owner. But despite it all, King Huff never lost his spirit. He tackled recovery like a champ and is now ready to run, play, and love like any happy puppy should. King is crate trained, sleeps through the night, and stays in his crate during the workday with a mid-day potty break. No accidents as long as he gets regular outdoor breaks—he’s a quick learner and eager to please! He might be a little energetic but he enjoys short, supervised play sessions with his bigger foster sister and has done well in playgroups. He’s still learning playtime manners and how to meet new people, but with a little patience (and a treat!), he warms up quickly. He’s had limited exposure to cats (mostly curious), and no experience with young kids, so he'd do best in a home with children 10+. Energetic, affectionate, smart, and just a little silly—King Huff is ready to rule your heart! Please consider making this gorgeous boy a member of your family.
