Basenji / Shiba Inu / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Dani is a sweet, dainty girl. SHR rescued this doll just in the nick of time. She was out of time and on the euthanasia list. When we went to meet her and she was a little shy and seemed scared and overwhelmed by all the noise and commotion at the shelter. She was in her kennel with her tail between her legs and backed into the corner. However, once we got her outside somewhere quiet and calm she loosened up and began to want attention. By the time we left with her she was sitting up in the back seat looking out the window. She is a medium sized dog and only weighs about 35 or 40 pounds. She looks to be a cross between a Basenji and a Shiba Inu. She is good with other dogs, as we tested her with three different dogs. (She also rode loose in the car with two other dogs and they are were friendly with each other). Please consider giving Dani a chance. She just wants a nice comfortable place where she can be happy. Let’s get this little girl out of boarding and into a foster or forever home where she can flourish!
