Hello there, I'm Ruger. I'm a big-hearted dog who's always up for a game of fetch. You see, I'm a playful guy who loves a good romp around the yard. But don't let my playful nature fool you, im a snuggle bug at heart. I've faced some tough times, like being heartworm positive, and dealing with a torn ACL (this doesn't slow me down). I have almost completed my HW treatment. Sometimes, I can be a bit timid, but with a little patience, I'll warm up to you. i love other dogs my size however i do have prey drive and am not good with small dogs or cats. I love children and am very gentle with them. I'm looking for a forever home where I can spread my love and joy. So, why should you adopt me?
