Since we don’t have a long health history of your adopted dog, we can only treat the pet for whatever symptoms present during the initial exam and follow up exams.~ Health: Orio's respiratory health is challenged by a mild collapsing trachea, for which he diligently follows a medication regimen. Additionally, he bravely battles congestive heart failure and faithfully takes his prescribed daily medication to manage this condition as well. ***** No obvious health issues found during vet exam ***** Temperament: Orio, a delightful 12-year-old Pomeranian, finds comfort in his cozy crate during nighttime slumbers. He has mastered the art of potty training and is a well-behaved companion. This little fluffball is the perfect lap dog, always seeking the warmth and affection of his humans. When it comes to car rides, Orio is a seasoned traveler, never causing any trouble. However, he takes his time when it comes to mealtime, savoring every bite. Orio's loyalty shines through as he longs to be near his beloved humans, occasionally expressing his presence with a gentle bark when his foster dad steps out. While he enjoys spending time outdoors, it is crucial that he is not left alone. Orio's love knows no bounds, as he adores children and all humans, showering them with kisses and relishing in receiving them in return. -- Where did he come from: Stray at the Dallas Animal Shelter, pulled by Operation Kindness to send up north.
