Female Dog, Great Pyrenees
Great Pyrenees / Mixed (Short Coat)
Description:
Meet Betty White! Born around Aug 31, 2024, she was found (along with her Pyr mom) when she was a tiny baby at only 2 ½ weeks old. Betty White a super curly tail like her mama. Based on what her sibling looks like, we’re thinking her daddy was an Australian Cattle Dog. She could weigh around 80 pounds when fully grown. She is a confident sweet girl who loves to play with her canine foster siblings. She has been the first at everything in her litter - bravely climbing onto ottomans, doing flying leaps off them, running super-fast, and doing zoomies. Sweet Betty gets along nicely with the other large male and female dogs in her foster home. She has not been around small-breed dogs, cats, or children. She loves running and exploring in a large yard with her doggie friends. She must have a large, playful canine companion in her forever home. She if fully potty trained, and she rings a bell when she wants to go outside! She is kennel trained and goes into her kennel on her own for naps. OUR REQUIREMENTS FOR PUPPY ADOPTION: 1) PUPPIES WILL ONLY BE PLACED IN HOMES WITH YOUTHFUL, PLAYFUL, DOGS. This helps integrate the dog into your household easier by giving the pup a mentor. 2) In addition to the youthful playful dog, someone MUST also be home at least part of the day. Please do not apply for a puppy if you are gone 8-10 hours a day. It is not a good situation for you or the puppy. 3) You must have plans in place to socialize your puppy properly. 4) Our puppies are not livestock dogs. They must be family pets that are allowed inside the home. Please watch this short video which demonstrates how puppies learn polite behavior from their adult dog mentors. https://youtu.be/R6N8STRl2aI0 SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Adoption fees are $300 for dogs under 1 year old, $250 for dogs 1-7 years old, $200 for dogs over 7 years old. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
