Paxton was found dumped in Alto, TX around the first part of December 2023, and surrendered to us on 12/11/23. The owner was found, and the sheriff got involved. He had dumped other dogs as well. Paxton is very sweet with people, will follow a person around without a leash, and does ok on a leash, but he needs more work on a leash. He is good with other dogs both male and female, and has not tried to dig under or climb over the 4 foot fence he is in. House training and cats are unknown. His breed is unsure, but his coat color and body shape could resemble a Catahoula Mix. Treeing Walker Hounds have longer ears than he has, which the saddle color on his body resembles that breed some. Paxton was estimated to have been born in June 2022, he was neutered on 12/22/23, and is current on vaccinations. $25 adoption fee, since a donation was made to help with his veterinary care.
