Max is super chill and ready for a home! This poor guy was very at risk at the shelter due to lack of space and the fact that he was losing weight. He immediately started filling out and looking more healthy with more energy at his foster home. We are so happy that Max is safe. Even though he can be a little bit linebacker-y in his sometimes rambunctious play style, Max needs a gentle touch. We are trying to teach him that humans are good and trustworthy. We don't know what kind of trauma he has endured, but we only want lots of love for him from now on. Max took some convincing that the chair in his room was meant for him to sit on. He shares a room with an elderly kitty and they both chill basically 100% of the time. We haven't let him fully mingle with the rest of our pack as we always have to do slow introductions with them. Max was a shelter staff favorite and we can see why. He's a really happy boy and just wants some belly rubs. He does the cutest nervous grin when he's really excited. And, puppy dog eyes. Max is the master at puppy dog eyes. He's ready to meet you! Max's adoption fee is $150. We perform background checks and home visits on all adopters.
