Dancing Dougie!! Seriously though, this dog has some skills. He will prance across the room on his hind legs, especially when food is involved. Doug is the most charming and optimistic fellow you'll ever meet. He spent several months at the shelter and even recovered from an upper respiratory infection early into his stay before going on last call due to length of stay. Volunteers deemed Doug a must-save and we could not agree more. When Doug met his foster siblings, he quickly assessed who and how rough he could play with. He took cues from our dogs perfectly and behaved exactly as a guest dog should. Doug is so smart! He watched our dogs go through the dog door one time and had it down instantly. We have had some fosters here for months who never figured out the dog door. He knows sit and shake and knows when it's time for him to go in his crate. Doug is so loving. He just leans into you and gazes up at you with those sweet eyes. He is a perfect family pet. Please email us at [email protected] to set up a meet and greet with Doug.
