Meet Your New Shadow Hi! I’m Maki — a 2-year-old, 58-lb professional sidekick with a serious commitment to running, belly rubs, and being exactly where you are at all times. Bathroom break? I’m in. Laundry day? I supervise. Sit down for one second? Belly rubs are now mandatory. I’m fully potty trained (you’re welcome!), but I’m not a fan of crate life — think free-range companion, not storage unit. On walks, I can pull on the leash because everything is just so exciting, and sometimes I forget I’m not actually a sled dog. I do great with other dogs after a slow, respectful introduction — I like to make friends thoughtfully, not dramatically. I love kids, adore people, and am friendly with just about everyone. Strangers are really just friends I haven’t been pet by yet.
