NEIMI Location: Newport, Tennessee Birthdate: December 2022Neimi was pulled from a rural TN shelter. Since being in her foster home we’ve learned a lot about her and she is such a great girl! —> Neimi is a bundle of energy. She loves to romp and play with dogs her size and her energy. She must have a large, energetic and playful dog in her forever home. She has no resource guarding and will often stick her head in a water bowl when the dog siblings are drinking. She may be too much for smaller dogs.—> She needs a fenced in yard and her home must use a crate. She LOVES her crate and enjoys going in it for quiet time. She will also need to be crated when you leave or she will chew. She is very much a puppy personality. She is also a talker so another reason an apartment wouldn’t work.She is cat curious but will give chase if a cat runs. However, she lives with them and has not hurt any. Neimi is also house trained. She pulls on the leash a bit it’s not too bad though. She has learned how to sit, but she has a stubborn streak so sometimes you have to wait patiently for her to sit. She is a true Velcro Dane, you have no privacy in the bathroom with her. But she absolutely is terrified of a bath. She is food motivated and loves to have treats. She sleeps with her human in bed and will push her forehead up on your pillow and ask for nightly snuggles.
