Female Dog, Great Dane

Great Dane / Bloodhound / Mixed

Description:

LOCATION: The Woodlands, TexasDOB: 09/14/2023Meet the magnificent Mae Mae, a stunning black Great Dane-Bloodhound mix pup. She is both beautiful and dazzling with her intelligence and impeccable manners. Mae Mae is not just a dog; she's a canine virtuoso, mastering various aspects of training with finesse at such a young age.Let's start with the basics – house training. She's completely potty trained. No accidents, no fuss – just a smart pup who knows the ropes. Her communication skills are equally impressive; she's a pro at signaling when she's ready to come inside. Whether it's sitting by the back door or delicately pressing her nose against the window, Mae Mae ensures her cues are crystal clear, without resorting to jumping or scratching. She can occasionally become a jumping bean when she is overly excited and will run in circles with glee. She loves playing with her foster fur siblings...cat and dogs. She is a pro at tug of war and romping around with the dogs. If she annoys the cat, he lets her know.Crate training is another area where she shines. A true connoisseur of comfort, she willingly enters her crate with the allure of a milk bone and peanut butter. Once inside, she may whimper for just a few minutes, but then she is fine. This girl just loves her humans and is not afraid to show her emotions. Overnight, she's a crate superstar, clocking in a solid 8-10 hours of peaceful sleep and gently reminding you it's time to start the day by 7 or 8 am.In the car, she transforms into a perfect passenger. Patience is her virtue, and there's not a peep from her as she sits serenely, making every road trip fun. She naps and sleeps overnight in her crate and does very well. Just give her a treat and she'll go right in. She can be a bit shy at times so a patient owner, understanding that slow intros are important would be best. She has discovered jumping up and that is being worked on - she is sure to excel in no time.Mae Mae's social graces extend beyond the home. At the front door, she's unreactive to both large and small dogs, showcasing her calm and collected demeanor. Her loyalty is unparalleled, earning her the title of a Velcro Dane – always seeking to be close and touching her beloved humans. During mealtime, I will check the other's bowls for to make sure they have eaten all of their food. She knows how to sit and wait to be fed. She is a huge cuddler...cuddle bug Mae Mae! She would be better with older kids due to her energy level and lack of awareness of size and the jumping for joy.Good girl is also good with cats! She is diligently working on her leash manners and digging habits. With positive training and reinforcement, she will get there in no time. I am very strong on the leash and have a curiosity with squirrels. Even in the face of wet and muddy paws, she graciously permits cleaning without a hint of resistance. No issues with chewing on shoes or things that are not meant for chewing; she's a canine companion who understands and respects boundaries. To sum it up, she is a very smart and loyal companion. She has a beautiful personality to match that adorable face. She will add a touch of brilliance to your life. With her intelligence, grace, and unwavering loyalty, she is so much more than just a dog; she'll make an extraordinary member of your family.========================= To apply to adopt me, please fill out the application form! https://form.jotform.com/51994996709176 .For more information, please email us at [email protected].
