LOCATION: Dallas, TexasDOB: 08/06/2020Hello there, if you are reading this, there is a chance that you will be my future family! My name is Luna, and boy, do I have a tale to tell. I used to be in the breeding business, kept in a concrete kennel. But now, I'm on a journey of learning manners and discovering my incredible potential. I've got these eyes that can melt hearts – they're practically smiling all the time because I have so much to smile about being given a second chance at life in a real home!Despite my past, I'm extremely young at heart and, I must admit, a bit rambunctious – but in the most delightful, clumsy way. I may be large, but in my mind, I'm a lap dog. You'll find me following you from room to room, just wanting to be part of the action. I'm sweet, affectionate, and suffer from a severe case of FOMO – the Fear of Missing Out. I've been caught shoving other dogs aside to ensure I get ALL the affection, but hey, it's all in good fun!No resource guarding here, but treats? Mine, mine, mine! Oh, did I mention they're ALL for me? I enjoy toys and have a fondness for chewing so make sure I have a supply of chew toys please. Living with other dogs would be fantastic for me, as I can learn the ropes of proper behavior from my furry friends.I am potty trained. I'm a bit of a counter surfer, but I'm getting better at curbing that habit. I might bark and growl at the cat upstairs, so maybe a cat-free zone is best for me.Now, let's talk about kids – I'm fabulous with them! I'm gentle and mindful of my size, though I may accidentally run into them when I'm a bit too excited. Unsure of men at first, but I warm up quickly. Women are my preferred pals but I could probably adapt quickly and possibly be a daddy’s girl.I am a big girl at night and can sleep by myself. Sometimes I will get up for cuddles but then I will go back and lay on my own. I'm still working on mastering the leash, and if I see another animal, be ready for a bit of a workout because I might need to go say hello. And when it comes to basic commands, I'm a work in progress, but with a patient and consistent family, I'm eager to show you just how much I can learn and improve.So, if you're looking for a sweet, clumsy, and oh-so-silly companion, I'm your girl, Luna.
