Meet Diesel! Hi, I’m Diesel! I’m a 1 year and 8-month-old Harlequin Great Dane looking for my forever home! Right now, I’m living in Indiana with my foster dad. I take a little time to warm up to new people, but once I do, I’ll be your best snuggle buddy. I’m a total foodie with a bit of a mischievous side—I’ve been known to sneak a peek in the trash can, just in case the humans throw away something tasty. But don’t worry, my listening skills are pretty solid! When I’m told “no,” I usually listen the first time.Since being in my foster home, I’ve learned a lot! I already know:✅ Sit✅ Down✅ Crate: I’m a pro in my crate! I get a little excited when it’s time to go outside or spend time with my human, but I settle quickly with the “sit” or “settle” command.✅ Place: I’m learning the “place” command, which helps me stay calm and relaxed when needed.I’ve met lots of new people and love them all, but I do best with slow introductions since I can be a little wary of strangers at first.I love playing with my toys and doing the occasional Great Dane zoomies. But my absolute favorite thing? Snuggling on the couch with a cozy blanket and pillow! ️I’m still working on walking politely on a leash—it just takes practice!
